Dudley Dursley

Dudley Dursley’s character was portrayed by Harry Melling. He was a fat, blonde and a muggle born spoiled brat cousin of Harry Potter. In Sorcerer’s Stone they celebrated his birthday at the zoo, but before they went at the zoo he counted his 37 gifts from his parents and still asked for 2 more to break the record of 38 gifts from his last birthday. Dudley’s life was very opposite of Harry’s. He has a complete family, he was treated as very special, he can celebrate his birthday, he can have a lot of gifts, he can eat everything he wanted without limitations but Harry could not do all these. Often times he was left behind by Dursleys. They never even tried to celebrate Harry’s birthday.

In the end, though he’s very fond of bullying Harry, Dudley also asked Harry to come with them when they were about to leave Privet Drive for their safety. He was very sad thinking that Harry could not come with them.
