Rubeus Hagrid

Rubeus Hagrid’s character was portrayed by Robbie Coltrane. He was born on December 6, 1928, known as the keeper of keys and grounds at Hogwarts. He loves all creatures. His wand was sixteen inches, oak (it was broken in his third year – prepared and presumably kept in a pink umbrella). When he was a student of Hogwarts he was sorted at Griffindor house. Unfortunately, Hagrid was expelled because of a false accusation for opening the chamber of secrets with his arachnid friend named Aragog. This occurrence was the reason why Moaning Myrtle died in the girl’s bathroom. Hagrid was also the person who sends Harry to the Dursleys when he was still a baby and rescued him when he was 11 years old to study at Hogwarts. He was a very loyal friend of Harry and Dumbledore in the entire series.
